Principles of religion and belief
1- Monotheism : Means that there is one God and has no partner.
2- Justice : Means that God is just in everything.
3- Prophecy : Means that God sent prophets to regenerate people.
4- Leadership (Imamah) : Means that the prophet (peace be upon his family and him) executed the Islamic nation to obey the twelve (Imams) leaders after him:

  1.  Imam Ali (peace be upon him).
  2.  Imam Al-Hassan (peace be upon him).
  3.  Imam Al-Hussein (peace be upon him).
  4.  Imam Ali Zein Al-Abdeen (peace be upon him).
  5.  Imam Mohammad Al-Baqer (peace be upon him).
  6.  Imam Ja’ffar Al-Sadeq (peace be upon him).
  7.  Imam Mousa Al-Kadhim (peace be upon him).
  8. Imam Ali Al-Rida (peace be upon him).
  9.  Imam Mohammad Al-Jawad (peace be upon him).
  10.  Imam Ali Al-Hadi (peace be upon him).
  11.  Imam Hassan Al-Askari (peace be upon him).
  12. Imam Mohammad bin Al-Hassan Al-Mahdi, the awaited Imam (peace be upon him).

5- Resurrection : Means life after death; as those with good deeds (mo’mens) will go to heaven, and those with bad deeds (kofar) will go to hell.
The most important Islamic duty, after belief, is prayer.
How to perform Ablution
1-Wash palms and gargle : It is preferable to wash hands and gargle three times.

5- Wash the right hand : Start from above the elbow by a little “downwards”.
6- Till the end of the fingers, wetting the whole hand.
7-Wash the left hand. Then wash the left hand starting from above the elbow also..
8- Continue washing the left hand : Till the end of the fingers, downwards so that the whole hand gets wet.
9- Cajole (Rub) the head : Cajole with the already wet right hand the head.
10-Cajole (Rub) the right foot: Cajole with the already wet right hand, also the right foot beginning from the tips of toes to the ankle.
11-Cajole (Rub) the left foot: Cajole with the already wet left hand, the left foot beginning from the tips of toes to the ankle.

How to perform Prayer (Salat) 1- Adhan and Eqamah :
How to recite Adhan :

- Allaho Akbar. (four times) - Ash-hadu an-la illah illa -llah. (twice) - Ash-hadu anna mohammadan rasul-ullah. (twice) - Ash-ahdu anna aliyan wali-yullah. (twice) (It is not part of adhan or eqamah but it is preferable to say) - Hayya alas-salat. (twice) - Hayya alal-falah. (twice) - Haya ala khairil a’mal. (twice) - Allaho akbar. (twice) - La – ilaha – illa – llah. (twice) Eqamah is different from Adhan in three things : - The starting Takbira is recited twice and not four times.
- The ending Tahlila is recited once only and not twice. - Recite after Hayya ala khairil a’mal “Kad Kamat al-Salat” (twice).
Attention, Intention and Takbira : Then face the Qiblah and intent to pray the morning prayer (salat), and if one wanted to pray another prayer other than the morning prayer so change the morning with the other prayer and it is (Al-Dohor, Al-Asr, Al-Magreb, Al-Esha’a). Ussali fardh al…… qurbatan illa allah ta’ala. 3- Takbirat Al-Ehram After the intention raise hands up and say “Allahu Akbar”, and it is takbirat al-Ihram. 4- Recite sourat Al-Fatiha and another soura. Then begin by reciting sourat Al-Fatiha then another complete soura form the Holy Qur’an. 5- Ruku (Bowing) Then bow and say: “Subhana rabbiyal – adhem – wa – behamdeh”, then it is preferable to say: “Allahuma salli ala Mohammad wa ale Mohammad”. 6- Stand up after Ruku Then stand up erect with stability seconds and say : “same’a- allaho leman hamedah”. And go to Sujoud. 7- The first Sajdah. Then put your forehead, palms, big toes of both feet and both knees on the ground and say: “Subhana rabbiyal a’la wa-behamdeh, allahuma salli ala Mohammed wa ale Mohammed”. 8- Sit after first Sajdah. Sit at ease for seconds and say : “Allaho akbar” 9- The second Sajdah. Then knell for the second Sajdah and say : “Subhana rabbiyal a’la wa behamdeh” and it is preferable to say: “Allahoma salli ala Mohammed wa ale Mohammed. 10-Sit up after the second Sajdah. Then sit up for seconds saying : “Allaho akbar”. In this way, first Rakaat is done, so stand up. 11-Stand up for the second Rakaa After standing up steadily read Sourat al-fatiha and another soura (like what was done in the first Rakaa) 12-Qunut After reciting sourat al-fatiha and another soura and before Ruku it is preferable to recite a short Du’ae. 13-Ruku Bow for Ruku and say : “Subhana rabbiyal-adheem wa behamdeh”, and it is preferable to say: “Allahoma salli ala Mohammed we ale Mohammed”. 14-Stand up after Ruku Then stand up erect with stability and say : “same’a allaho leman hamedah”, and go to Sujoud. 15-Sojoud of the second Rakaat Then put your forehead, palms, big toes of both feet and both knees on the ground and say: “Subhana rabbiyal a’la wa behamdeh”, it is preferable to say: “Allahuma salli ala Mohammed wa ale Mohammed. 16-Sit after first Sajdah Sit at ease for seconds and say : “Allah Akbar”, then go back for the second Sajdah. 17-The second Sajdah Then kneel for the second Sajdah and say: “Subhana rabbiyal a’la wa behamdeh”, and it is preferable to say: “Allahuma salli ala Mohammed wa ale Mohammed”. 18-Sit up after second Sajdah: Recite the Tashahud and add the Tasleem : “Allahu akbar, ash-hado an-la-illaha illa -llah, wah-dahu la sharika lah, wa-ash-hadu anna mohammad abdahu wa rasuloh, allahuma salli ala Mohammed wa ale Mohammed”. The Tasleem is : As-salamo alayka ayoha nabio wa rahmatollahe wa barakatoh. As-salamo alayna wa ala ebade-llahe as-saleheen. As-salamo alaykum wa rahmatollahe wa barakatoh. In this way Morning Prayer is over. As for Al-Magreb prayer; being three Rikaats, after the second Rekaa and Tashahud don’t read the Tasleem, instead get up for the third Rikaa, stand still and say three times: “Subhan -allahe wal-hamdo lelahe wa la-elaha ella-llaho- wa-allaho akbar”. Then bed for Ruku and kneel for two Sjouds (as mentioned before) then read the last Tashahud and Tasleem. As for Al-Dohor, Al-Asr and Al-Isha prayers, because each one of them consists of four Rikaats (as mentioned above). Then perform the second & last Tashahud and Tasleem. Sourat Al-Fatiha : Bismilahe rahmane rahim* alhamdolillahe rabe a’lamin* alrahmane rahim* malike yawme ddin* iyaka na’bodo wa iyaka nasta’in* ehdina siratal-mostakim* sirata lazina an’amta a’lyhem ghayrel-maghdobe a’alyhem wala dalin* Sourat Al-Tawhid : Bismilahe rahmane rahim* kol howa-llaho ahad* allaho samad* lam yaled wa lam youlad* walam yakon laho kofowan ahad* Sadak-llaho a’aley al-azim.. wal hamdolilahe rabil-a’lamine…
